O GROVE GALICIA
A very pleasant hotel in a quiet location about four kms from the resort of O Grove which is a peninsular of land sticking out into the blue Atlantic connected to the mainland by a causeway. The area offers almost continuous beaches of fine sand - very under developed and a lovely area.The interesting city of Pontevedra is just 23 miles away.
The hotel is tucked away in a quiet location amidst exotic gardens on palm and pine trees overlooking the sea that is glimpsed through the trees with a downhill walk of about 400 yards to the sea and beach area. Just 150 yards walk away is another restaurant and a hotel with restaurant - so there is a good choice available without going to O Grove itself.
The lush grounds and lawns surround a large heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi area and there is a large area for sun bathing and sun beds supplied.
There are two separate sections to the hotel - the one that appears in our photograph which contains the restaurant, reception and lounge, bedrooms and on the top two floors there are self-contained apartments.
Facing across the gardens is the new annexe which also contains on the ground floor a lovely café where you can take breakfast, snacks and drinks for the pool.
The bedrooms are comfortable – spacious and come with air conditioning complete with Sat-TV, telephone and a good sized en suite bathroom with bath shower WC and many have a balcony.
Children from 3-12 years enjoy a 50% reduction (up to two sharing parents bedroom). Less than 3 years and children are free of charge but cot charges apply.
Minimum stay is 3 nights (7 nights 01/08 - 31/08)
