This three star hotel is owned by our agents and the hotel rooms are very high quality - we would suggest they are 4star quality.

Having either sea views or views over the swimming pool area all the rooms are with balcony. The hotel is located about 3km from the lively little resort of Porto Nova and about 700 yards from the lovely beach of Montalco.

In our view, this hotel offers quality at reasonable prices and you will be surprised at the menu prices both in the restaurant and the snack bar - a simple but large meal for one and three beers came to just 11 euros (£8.00) - good value by any standards!

There is also a very good fixed daily menu as well as a la carte and a very good selection of local wines, which are not expensive, starting at 10 euros a bottle and up.

The rooms are a good size with balconies, all with very smart fully tiled bathrooms each with bath, shower over WC and washbasin. In the bedrooms – Satellite TV with UK programs, telephone and French windows on to good-sized balconies.

Good sized swimming pool surrounded by lawn. Reception area with easy chairs and English speaking staff will give local advice.

Rooms with sea view on request. Children sharing room with parents (2-8 years) receive a 40% discount.

We regard this hotel as being in an ideal location, being within walking distance of other restaurants and is offering four-star quality bedrooms at three star prices.

However, the beach is a bit far to walk!
