Cremia: |
Two
kilometres up from Rezzonico is the old village of Cremia,
of Roman origins standing above the lake with beautiful
views of the Valtellina mountains. Between the village
and the lake is Casa Cremia, a delightful cottage with
stunning views and a lawned garden, next to a small stream.
From
here one can walk to the lake or take the old Roman track "L'
Antica Via Regina" leading to Rezzonico and Acquaseria,
through fields and chestnuts forest. Hikers will find
many tracks to explore the gorgeous mountain hamlets
and there are also mountain bike trails.

Casa
Cremia, Cremia, Lake Como
(Sleeps
5 - Bedrooms 3 - Bathrooms 1)
The
region of Lake Como provides the visitor with both mountainous
and Mediterranean vistas offering an incredible and wide
variety of vegetation and landscape which makes it one
of the most scenic spots in all of Italy. Small villages
hanging vertically above the lake are nestled dramatically
in the mountains with wonderful colours; the old village
of Cremia, of Roman origins, stands at 100 mt. above the
lake with beautiful views of the Valtellina mountains across.
Between
the village and the lake is Casa Cremia, a farmer's house
built in 1858, recently reconverted into a delightful country
style cottage surrounded by a lawned garden; all around,
chestnut and other mature trees mix with oleanders, hydrangeas,
palm trees. A stream runs nearby and forms a small waterfall,
whose gentle sound contributes to the relaxing atmosphere
of the place. According to the owner, it releases a healthy
ion exchange, which has a very positive effect on body
and soul! People with respiratory problems will find great
benefit.
The
most endearing feature of the house is the lawned front
garden, shaded by fruit trees and with outdoor games available
for the younger guests. |

cottage has retained its rustic features, such as the
original Lombard terracotta tiles, the stone internal
staircase and timber ceilings in all rooms. The windows
are also original and feature attractive red shutters.

few more steps lead to a small landing, set as a

Access: Only
on foot. The car can be parked on a public ground (free
parking) distant about 250 metres from the house. From
the parking, an old original cobbled track (lit) leads
to the house through a short uphill and flat section
and after crossing a grassy area, to some steps down
to the entrance of the cottage. Note that, due to the
surface of the track, it is not possible to pull trolley
bags or luggage on wheels.

Domaso: |
Domaso is some 20km north of Menaggio. Domaso is the best place on Lake Como for Windsurfing (you'll find two of the best schools in Europe within a two minute walk from the villa) and is also good for all water activities (swimming, Sailing, Water-skiing, power boat riding, fishing). Ther are some great trails for Mountain biking, or just walking. There is an 18 hole golf course just 20km away.

Residence Geranio
Located at Domaso, these apartments are in several buildings which have direct access to a private beach in a superb situation. The only drawback is that the owners of these good quality apartments also have a camping site which is nearby and shares the access to the lake and private beach - we would only see this as a disadvantage in the peak summer weeks when all of Italy is over crowded!
The apartments and the houses are seperated from the camp site but share the same beach.Newly installed for 2006 is a large swimming pool and a childrens paddling pool as well as a seperated jacuzzi.
There are two types of accommodation. Two apartment buildings, one in front of the other and then two villas which are located directly onto the lake and split into two units each.
Apartments Geranio:
Contains 25 apartments in the two buildings (with underground garage), located in a garden setting with lawns with a barbeque area, 200 metres walk from the beach – the apartments have their own path without walking through the camping site. There is a reception desk on the ground floor and also a laundry room with washing machine.
There are 7 types of apartments in these buildings which are:
Studios (2 persons) Type A4: These have a living room area with sofa beds. Kitchenette with sink unit, fridge, and four hot plates. There is a bathroom with shower WC. Each has either a balcony or a reserved table area in the garden.
One bedroomed apartments Type B4 (sleeps 2/4): Living room with French windows onto a patio or balcony. One unit has a lovely lake view but no balcony-instead table and chairs reserved for this apartment in the gardens. Sofa beds in the living room, plus one separate bedroom with a double twin beds. Kitchenette with sink unit, four hot plates and a fridge. One bathroom with shower WC & washbasin.
Two bedroomed apartment Type C6 (sleeps 4/5): Living room sofa beds. French windows lead onto a balcony. Kitchenette having 4 hot plates, fridge and sink unit. Two bedrooms - one with a double bed and a smaller one with twin beds. One bathroom with shower WC & washbasin.

Villa Adi A7 (sleeps 5/7): Located in the camping site about 20 metres from the beach. A semi detached villa, with direct access to the beach, has its own garden area with barbeque. Contains a living room with sofa beds accessing to a small balcony and garden. Kitchen with four hot plates and fridge. Two bedrooms - one with a double bed and a single bed and a second bedroom with twin beds. Bathroom with bath, WC & washbasin.
Villa Adi A8 (sleeps 6/7): Located in the camping site about 20 metres from the beach. Semi detached having a living room with direct access onto a lake facing patio terrace and steps to garden level. In the living room are sofa beds. Kitchenette with fridge, oven, four hot plates and sink unit. Two bedrooms each one with a double bed and a single bed. One bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin.

Villa Rita: Large detached house split into two apartments which can be rented as one unit if required. Has a large garden area with remote controlled gates and beach access for boats, and there is a barbeque area.
R6 Upper floor (sleeps 5/6): Living room with sofa bed and French windows to a sizable balcony with lake views. Kitchenette with oven, four hot plates and dishwasher. Two bedrooms - one with double bed and dressing room. The other with twin beds. One full bathroom with shower and whirlpool bath. Second WC with washbasin. Outside own garden area with tables and chairs.

The final cleaning excludes the kitchen (which must be left neat, tidy and cookers cleaned and crockery washed and returned to cupboards. Rubbish should have been disposed of and not left in the property – this includes wine/beer/pop bottles and cans. If it is not left correctly, a further charge of €25 will be made. |

Residence Domaso
A new residence of just ground floor and first floor which contains eight apartments and is centrally located and in a sunny position within 300 metres of restaurants bars and a supermarket and 600 yards from the Come lake beach.
There is easy parking and most important a large swimming pool for all guests and also a fitness room/gym is available.
There are two apartments one with two bedrooms and one with one bedroom. One on the ground floor with a terrace and tiny garden and the other on the top floor which has a large balcony with garden furniture. Each has a living room with dining area and kitchenette which has four hot plates, a dishwasher and oven. There is a double sofa bed in the living room area along with SAT-TV.
In the larger apartment, there are two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with one single bed and pair of bunk beds. Max number accepted is SIX persons. Bathroom with shower/WC/Bidet.
Accommodation which sleeps 4:
There are also four other apartments to sleep four persons which have much the same furnishings but only ONE separate bedroom with a double bed. - Price on application.
