Le Marche, The Marches in english, is mostly an agricultural region and is surprisingly very green. Le Marche is situated in the centre-north of Italy on the Adriatic coast with an area of 9,694 sq. km., 180km of coastline and a population of 1,426,000. It is divided into four provinces as shown on the map. To the west of the Ascoli Piceno and Macerata provinces are the impressive Sibillini mountains. The Sibillinis make up the regions National Park and Nature Reserve. From this mountain range, hills roll eastwards towards the coast. The driving distance between the mountains and the beaches is approximately 1 hour.
The Sibillini National Park has many footpaths which are mostly signposted for the more adventurous and those who want to get nearer to nature. There are also many routes among the mountains for cycling and mountain biking. The Park offers many other activities such as horse riding, climbing and skiing.
Besides the National Park there are a number of Regional Parks in the Province of Ancona, namely the Parco Regionale della Gola, della Rossa and di Frasassi where you will find the famous caves Grotte di Frasassi. Immediately south of Ancona there is the Parco Regionale del Conero.
The Adriatic coast offers a great variety of resorts from the very quiet to the crowded, both sandy and pebbly.
Porto Recanati: The resort of Porto Recanati is at the southern end of this peninsular and offers easy access into the lovely Marche countryside as well as some superb beaches. Known as the birth place of Gigli, the opera singer and also equally known for its recipes in Italy for Brodetto – a classic fish soup that must by cuisine religion contain nine different types of fish! For scenery, there is an old fishermen’s quarter and there is the remains of a medieval castle. Porto Recanati is one of the Adriatic’s most pleasant resorts according to the “Rough Guide” It also hosts a number of quality restaurants.
Inland offers peaceful and lovely country and eventually to the Sibillini mountains-picturesque villages and small countryside inns abound.
Residence Villa al Conero

Located in a panoramic position on a hilltop in a large park-like setting about 2km from the centre and about the same from the sea and beaches.
There is tennis, table tennis and a large shared swimming pool for the use of clients. The pool is open from 17 June until about 17 September, weather permitting.
There is a reception open from 0900 to 2200 hours and parking.
We offer two types of accommodation:
T5 sleeps 4/5 - these are spacious (68 sq metres) on the ground floor with a living room (with single sofa bed if required), a kitchenette and a bathroom. On the first floor there are two bedrooms – one with double bed and the other with twin bedsand a bathroom with shower WC.
Q7 sleeps 6/7 - again lots of space on two floors with three bedrooms – one double, one twin and a staircase into the attic area, which contains a third room with twin beds. One bathroom.

Residence I Giardini del Conero

New construction in a village style, these maisonette style apartments are surrounded by neat lawns and gardens and about 2km from the town centre and a 200 yards walk to the beach.
Attractions include several very large swimming pools which are open from 27 May to about 09 September depending on weather conditions.
Beach service with umbrella, table and chairs per apartment. There are also chairs and tables around the swimming pool. A supermarket is open from 01 June to 10 September within 150 yards walk as is a restaurant, a pizzeria a bar and a discotheque.
Type B4 sleeps 2/4 persons: Complete with air-conditioning they offer a balcony on first floor and a tiny garden on the ground floor. Each has a TV. Living room with a double sofa bed.
Separate kitchen. On the first floor a bedroom with a double bed and balcony. One bathroom with shower WC.

Residence Villaggio i Tigli
Porto Recanati, Le Marche
New holiday village style located about 400 metres from the centre of the resort and some 500 metres from the sea and beach.
The apartments have a communal gardens, a large swimming pool which is open from 17 June until about 15 September. The residence is about 150 metres away from the main road and in August this is not the choice for those affected by noise.
The apartments are able to sleep 3 persons, five and seven persons and are as follows:
B3 to sleep 2/3 - These have a living room with kitchenette single sofa bed, one separate bedroom with a double bed. Bathroom with shower WC
T5 sleep 4/5 - Consisting of a single sofa bed in the living area, one bedroom with a double bed,
One bedroom with bunk beds. Bathroom with shower WC.
Q7 sleeps 5/7 - As type T5 but having three bedrooms. One with a double bed, the second with twin beds and the third with bunk beds.
Q7A sleeps 5/7 - as Q7 but with a second bathroom.
