RAVELLO
It
just does not come more peaceful than this with splendid
views of the Southern end of the ‘DIVINA COSTIERA’,
the towns of Minori and Maiori and the gulf of Salerno.
The
Villa is set in one of the cultivated terraces cascading
down to the sea and the large ‘Tenuta Amato’ which
supplies local factories with the lemons for the making
of the famous Limoncello.
Guests
will not only find lemon, apricot, olive, pear trees
and vines but also all vegetables grown locally which
may be bought directly from the owner who lives in a
separate house in the estate and in September and October
they are welcome to join in with the harvest.
After
parking the car along the roadside and a short walk along
a scenic pathway (approx. 150 m.) one reaches the estate
entrance gate and down 88 steps is the entrance of IL
PARSIFAL.
The
house is on one level with entrance from large covered
furnished terrace with bbq and breathtaking views of
the sea and coastline.
Long
corridor with lounge / dining room and 2 bedrooms (1
double + 1 twin) to the left all three rooms with long
balcony and sea views.
To
the right is the pine wood kitchen, well equipped with
fridge / freezer, large cooker with 4 gas + 2 electric
rings, electric oven.
Further
along the corridor is the single bedroom with window
to the garden and bathroom with bath tub and hand shower,
washing machine, lavabo wc etc… At the end of the
corridor there is a door which gives on to the cultivated
garden. Mosquito nets, washing machine, colour TV.
Porterage
is included in rental cost. Sleeps maximum 5 persons.

The
road that from Ravello winds down to the hamlet of Torello
enchants the visitor with its unfolding beauty and view
of the coastline with the villages of Maiori, Minori and
sea at distance.
Along
this road is La Casetta: this charming little house has
been entirely renovated and is set in a quiet environment
at 1,5 kilometres from the centre of Ravello, ideal for
relaxation and for walkers who will be delighted to explore
the surroundings on foot. It has a beautiful citrus garden,
with grassy area, a bright bougainvillaea pergola, equipped
with table and chairs for al fresco meals. About 100 metres
away is a small centre of San Cosma with a friendly bar
and church, while shops and restaurants are in and around
the main square in Ravello.

La
Sponda enjoys the most enviable of locations just above
the centre of Positano. The apartment is built in a typical
Positano ‘moorish’ style, with high vaulted
ceilings. In keeping with the strong artistic tradition
of this enchanting village, it has been furnished and decorated
with attractive fabrics in tones of blue and green, majolica
tiles, colourful modern paintings and prints. La Sirena
is dotted with family photographs and books, lamps, local
ceramics, miniatures and glass bottles collected by the
owners in their travels abroad.
From
the terrace of La Sponda, the panorama of the pastel coloured
villas and
palaces of Positano is simply breathtaking. Watching
the effects
of the changing light on the village as dusk falls and the yachts and
fishing boats come into moor is an unforgettable experience.
This
charming apartment is ideal for two couples who wish for
some privacy or a small family with teenagers. For those
who can tear themselves away from the views of its terraces,
delightful small boutiques, lively bars and restaurants,
are all within moments walk. For dedicated gourmets, the
legendary Hotel Le Sirenuse with its renowned ‘La

EOLO Apartment (sleeps 2+2) - Scala, near Ravello
In a residential area of Scala which is a well known village of the Amalfi Coast approx. 350 metres above sea level. The distance from the sea is + - 7km.
Located on the ground floor of a 2 story villa where English speaking owner lives - you will feel welcome and at home the welcoming spirit of the owners, who you will find always ready to help, and at the same very considerate.
Staying at this apartment you will enjoy a vacation in a natural environment of amazing beauty, and you will also have a base to visit Pompeii, Paestum, Naples and the Royal Palace of Caserta. You will be able to visit the famous beaches of the Amalfi Coast and the characteristic fashion and artisans' shops, as well as attend the many cultural and artistic happenings that take place throughout the year.
A French window leads you from the terra cotta terrace to the large sitting / dining room, which has comfortable couch and a dining table. An archway separates the sitting room from the kitchen.
The kitchen is comfortable and complete, with a 4-burner gas stove, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer, kettle.
There is a shower room complete with WC, lavabo, bidè and hair dryer.
The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room, WC, lavabo, bidè and hair dryer. There is also a washing machine, central heating, Satellite TV and road side parking (not private).
The building faces a secondary road and with independent entrance, EOLO apartment has its own flowered terrace equipped with table chairs and deck chairs, with a view over the village of Ravello ( 1km ) and the sea.
The closest beach is the striking beach of Castiglione, placed in a small valley dug by the sea, where the emerald waters meet the high rocks of the coast it is reached by the inevitable steps ( + - 400 ) from the main Ravello / Amalfi coast road, alternatively for those who like to avoid the steps there is the famous Amalfi beach ( 7km ) or Minori & Maiori ( + - 10km ).
The apartment is new ( built in 2005 ) and finely furnished in a classic style. It has been decorated with the splendid majolica tiles, characteristic of the Amalfi area.
A car is not essential as the bus stop is only a few hundred metres from the house. There you can get the local bus or one that takes you to Ravello, Amalfi, and from here to Positano, Sorrento, Salerno.
When the sun goes down on the sea the colours of the land change. The sunset on the Amalfi Coast is spectacular, and the terrace is the best place to appreciate it. And, of course, it is the best place to have a quiet supper under the stars, when the lights of the coast go on and the moon appears in the sky.
From Scala you will be able to easily reach the harbour of Amalfi (8km), where you can board the ferries and the hydrofoils that go to Capri, Sorrento, Positano and Naples. Grocery stores, cafes, restaurant and the bus stop are only a few hundred meters from the property. If you will be driving a car, you will be able to park alongside the road free of charge.
If you enjoy hiking, you will be also easily able to reach the famous path that stretches at the top of the mounts of the coast of Amalfi, among precipices and breathtaking views.
