In a residential area of Scala, a well known village of the Amalfi Coast approx. 350 meters above sea level. The distance from the sea is 6km .

Located on the ground floor of a 2-storey villa where English speaking owner lives - you will feel welcome and at home. You will find the owners always ready to help, and at the same time very considerate.

Staying at this apartment you will enjoy a vacation in a natural environment of amazing beauty, and you will also have a base to visit Pompeii, Paestum, Naples and the Royal Palace of Caserta. You will be able to visit the famous beaches of the Amalfi Coast and the characteristic fashion and artisans' shops, as well as attend the many cultural and artistic happenings that take place throughout the year.

If you enjoy hiking, you will be also easily able to reach the famous path that stretches at the top of the mounts of the coast of Amalfi, among precipices and breathtaking views.

The building faces a secondary road and with independent entrance, EOLO apartment has its own flowered terrace equipped with table, chairs and deck chairs, with a view over the village of Ravello ( 2km ) and the sea.

The closest beach is the striking beach of Castiglione, placed in a small valley dug by the sea, where the emerald waters meet the high rocks of the coast. It is reached by the inevitable steps (+/- 500 ) from the main Ravello / Amalfi coast road. Alternatively for those who wish to avoid the steps there is the famous Amalfi beach ( 7km ) or Minori & Maiori ( +/- 10km ).

When the sun goes down over the sea the colours of the land change. The sunset on the Amalfi Coast is spectacular, and the terrace is the best place to appreciate it. And, of course, it is the best place to have a quiet supper under the stars, when the lights of the coast go on and the moon appears in the sky.

From Scala you will be able to easily reach the harbour of Amalfi, 7km , where you can board the ferries and the hydrofoils that go to Capri, Sorrento, Positano and Naples. Grocery stores, cafes, restaurant and the bus stop are only a few hundred meters from the property. If you are driving a car, you will be able to park alongside the road free of charge.

The apartment is new ( built in 2005 ) and finely furnished in a classic style. It has been decorated with the splendid majolica tiles characteristic of the Amalfi area. A car is not essential as the bus stop is only a few hundred metres from the house. There you can get the local bus or one that takes you to Ravello, Amalfi, and from here to Positano, Sorrento, Salerno.

A French window leads you from the terra cotta terrace to the large sitting / dining room, which has comfortable couch and a dining table. An archway separates the sitting room from the kitchen. The kitchen is comfortable and complete, with a 4-burner gas stove, an oven, a refrigerator with a freezer, kettle. Shower room complete with WC, lavabo, bidet and hair dryer.
