Auto Plan Holidays Booking Terms & Conditions

We operate with two simple sets of Terms and Conditions:


  • Conditions for stays at City Hotels; and
  • Conditions for stays at Self Catering Accommodation and
    Resort Hotels;

    • There are NO Booking Fees
    • Unless hotel arrival date is less than 1 month we only take a £50/75 euros deposit. This is deducted from the final invoiced costs.
    • If the reservation is cancelled the deposit is NOT returned.
    • Otherwise you may cancel without charge EXCEPT if cancelling less than 48 hours before arrival.
    • If you cancel less than 48 hours BEFORE arrival you will be charged a "no Show" of one night room & breakfast rate.
    • Final payments must be paid four week before departure. Full balance is due when booking less that four weeks of the arrival date booked.
    • All rates are PER ROOM per night and always INCLUDE Breakfast.
    • Auto Plan is a bonded member of Association of British Travel Agents - any monies paid to us are covered by this Bond.
    • Lastly do remember that credit cards offer no protection to UK cardholders if the payments are made to a company outside the UK.

    Self Catering and Resort Hotel Booking Conditions

    These are very simple and we rely on English Common law to relate to any other complaints or refunds. In the case of bookings for which we are unable to provide the required accommodation, we must contact you within 72 hours of you paying a deposit. In the unlikely case we are unable to provide the required property or reasonable alternative, any deposit/monies taken are refunded in full. This should not imply that we do not have availability at the time your booking is confirmed verbally - however agents and owners can make reservation errors.

    • On booking, a deposit of £50 per person is requested (in a few cases 20% of the total villa rental)
    • Deposits are not refundable (insurance should be taken out to cover this).
    • Final payment must be made eight weeks before the arrival date. If a booking is being made after this interval - full payment will become due.
    • We only accept written and signed cancellation letters. Verbals cancellations are no longer accepted.
    • In the case of cancellation the following cancellation charges apply to the total rental cost.
    • Cancellation less than 5 weeks before arrival date is 35%
    • Cancellation less than 4 weeks before arrival date is 50%
    • Cancellation less than 3 weeks before arrival 85%
    • Cancellation less than 2 weeks before 100%.
    • It should be stressed that insurance should cover your obligations. You can take this out with us by clicking HERE or you may have your own insurance cover. Do be aware that credit card insurances often do NOT offer cover against cancellation! There are a few exceptions with some “Gold” credit cards - but read carefully the cover offered……. 
    • Paying with a credit card will have 2.5% added to the total payment - best to pay with a debit card - no charges apply.
    • For clients bookings that involve the USA we will ask you to provide details for insurance that you have taken out /or click HERE for our insurance cover as we take no liability for any repatriation or health costs whatsoever.
