Self catering holiday accommodation in Florence, the epicentre of Tuscany.

The splendours of Florence are too numerous to describe fully, but strangely enough most of the attraction tends to be indoors rather than out in the brilliant sunshine.

Of course, there are some wonderful buildings, such as the Duomo and its Baptistry. And you can wander along the banks of the Arno past the Pizzadsdella Signora to the medieval Ponte Vecchio whose walls are lined with miniature shops.

The birthplace of the great artists and talented spirits, whose memory abounds throughout, amid unexpected views of proud cypress trees and powerful olive trees, where you can enjoy a stroll in artistic cities that are a part of history, be it from antique times be it in the present future: Etruscan Fiesole, Siena and its Medieval town councils, Florence of the Medici family and the Renaissance.

Lively modern day metropoli where you can shop in elegant boutiques for the most famous Italian designer names or visit the workshops of the skilful master craftsmen. Then there is Pisa with its leaning tower, Lucca, Pistoia, Arezzo and hundreds of other "pearls", large and small, all close by, all waiting to be discovered and where you can enjoy the delights of Tuscany's wine and gastronomic traditions,which have been followed throughout the world.
