Holiday Villas of Laguna Bay / Royal Palm Bay - Kissimmee

The word 'villa' seems to have got a little corrupted when used by our American cousins! In fact the word over there appears to really mean any form of self catering accommodation which has a kitchen, which is the only way we can explain that these 'villas' are actually apartments!

These resort complexes of apartments face each other and are located about 2km from US192, the main road of Kissimmee and therefore are within ten minutes driving time from Disney World and Sea World. The area also has a large number of hotels, restaurants, shops and attractions all with in a few minutes drive yet still manages to be a quiet location of woodlands and lakes.

The resorts consist of colonial style buildings which each contain four apartments on ground or first floor. Two types are available which offer two or three bedrooms and both types have two full bathrooms.

We have visited and inspected some of these units which offer a quiet location amidst woodlands and they offer three star quality - comfortable furnishings and each has a washer and dryer in each unit and a full kitchen. Very good value for money!!

Other facilities include a community swimming pool with snacks bar,picnic and barbeque areas, floodlit tennis courts , practice golf putting green (Laguna Bay only) children's playground, fitness and billiards room, video rentals and computer games.

Most important is the FREE Disney Theme park Shuttle which many clients will appreciate.

Two bedroomed apartments

Type A sleeps 4-6 persons - having a large lounge with queen sized sofa bed, kitchen with full stove micro wave washer/dryer. Two berooms - one with a queen sized bed and the other with twin beds. Two bathrooms each with tub and shower over.

Type B sleeps 6/8 persons - Consists of lounge with queen sofa bed, easy chairs, full kitchen as type A,and three bedrooms one with queen double bed and the other two bedrooms both have twin beds. Two bathrooms

A cot free of charge is available in both apartments.
