In the main villages of Molino, Pur and Pieve there are some shops and restaurants and six hotels. For nightlife, the lake has one very simple discotheque and also several lakeside bars that keep open until around 23:00 hours.

In short - it's a region where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the mountains, yet less than 15 minutes from the north shore of Riva and Torbole on Lake Garda. Within 30 minutes drive is the natural park area - a mountain wilderness and within one hours drive to the centre of the Brenta Dolomites.

Newly renovated this large former Farmhouse contains five apartments and on the lower ground floor a small supermarket open just in July/August.

At the rear of the property is a large garden which for 2004 will also offer a swimming pool (30 x 12 ft) playground and barbecue area.

In addition the Residence has it’s own private lakeside garden with a pontoon and beach area. Owned by our local agents the apartments offer a good three star quality rating.

Type A for 2/3:

Very clean cut apartments which have a well fitted kitchenette with four hot plates and a microwave oven – dining area which also has a double bed.

One bedroom with twin beds or a double bed. New bathroom with boxed shower WC etc. Each one has French windows onto a balcony or a terrace.

Type B for 4/5:

Larger ground floor units all with a good sized terrace and lake view. Good sized kitchenette in the living room with easy chairs and a single sofa bed – one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. Bathroom with boxed shower, WC.

Of new construction in 2003 these apartments are in a splendid position in a tranquil spot just one km from the lake. At present there are only six identical apartments – some more have been constructed at the rear but will not be fitted out until 2005 as the owners finance has run low!

Sharing a kidney shaped good sized pool (34x14 ft) the residence has fine mountain views and is surrounded by mature trees.

Each apartment has a spacious living room, the usual sofa bed, a high quality kitchenette with four hot plates (no oven) a large fridge freezer and coffee maker machine.

There are two bedrooms – one with a double bed and the other with twin beds. Very nice bathroom with boxed shower, WC etc.

All have a terrace or balcony and outdoor furniture.

Two attractive chalet style buildings which offer two bedroomed apartments (12 apartments in each residence) which share a very pleasant swimming and paddling pool in a quiet location about 2km from the lake in the hamlet of Bezzecca.

In addition to the pool there are grass lawns, playing field area, a barbecue area plus a children’s playground with swings, slides etc.

The apartments offer a good sized living room with a single sofa bed, dining area and a well fitted kitchenette which has four hot rings but no oven, a fridge freezer of course. Two bedrooms – one a double bed and the other with twin beds or bunk beds. (If bunk beds are a problem then do contact us to offer alternatives). Each one has a bathroom with boxed shower unit, WC etc and all have a reasonably sized balcony with mountain views. All are with satellite TV.

We have been renting these eight apartments for some years without complaint. They have a garage for each apartment on the ground floor.

There are two buildings, each with four apartments located in the quiet hamlet of Bezzecca. A new and very good swimming pool 30 x 13 ft but like most pools in Italy is not heated.

Each apartment offers a good sized living room with a single sofa bed, dining area with satellite TV.

The kitchens have been recently renovated and have a fridge freezer, four hot plates and a moderate ammount of working space. Sadly oven nor micro waves units are fitted in these apartments. Two bedrooms - one with a double bed and the other with three single beds.One bathroom with shower WC & washbasin.

All the apartments have long balconies with lovely mountain views.

Fairly average quality units but spacious and well maintained.

HOTEL MEZZOLAGO

Quite stunning location, directly on the lake’s edge, this three star hotel is in a quiet spot overlooking Lake Ledro. The lake is a shallow one, and it is quite possible to swim in the clear waters where the temperature gets up to around 75 degrees in high summer.

The lake is about a mile long and is in a natural mountain area on the edge of a national park. It is less than 20 minutes drive from Lake Garda, which is more touristy than Ledro but offers a contrast in styles.

Great for walks around the lake and into the mountains and surrounding woodland.

We offer the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis to allow flexibility, although half board can be booked for just €6 (around £4.20) per person per day.

The family run hotel has 32 rooms, and a lift to all floors. Not all rooms have balcony, but these are available on request. Lovely terrace area with outdoor furniture, leading down to a private beach at the water’s edge.
