AREA DESCRIPTION

The apartment is situated in the "Monti" area, a central and characteristic zone of Rome, which lies between the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia, Via Nazionale and the Basilica of St. Mary Major.

Monti is one of the most ancient Roman zones, once centre of the Trajan’s Market and the Domus Aurea.

The zone is so called because it is located between the several Roman hills. It is a characteristic zone with many pedestrian areas situated out of the traffic and rich of art and history.

DETAILS

The apartment is approximately 80 sq.m. and it has a terrace of 80 sq.m.; it is quite unique in its kind. Situated on the first floor of a small 18th century apartment building, it enjoys a terrace-garden with two fruits trees (a lemon and a peach).

The large living room, very bright, faces the terrace, furnished with a nice table and deck-chairs, a fountain and an external shower. In the living room there is a nice double sofa bed with puff, an antique dinner table, elegant chairs, a beautiful cupboard, a bookcase, colour TV and telephone.

The double bedroom is furnished with an antique king-size bed, an antique chest of drawers, a writing desk, an old chair and a big wardrobe.

From the window it is possible to see part of the Trajan’s Forum. In the single bedroom there is a single bed, an antique desk and a wardrobe.

The kitchen is fully equipped with gas-stove, oven, fridge, washing-machine, pots, cutlery and a nice kitchen cupboard.

The bathroom with a shower-stall is very characteristic.The apartment has recently been completely restored and luxuriously finished with Venetian painted walls, wooden-beam ceiling and a terracotta floor.

The gas heating is autonomous. The apartment is very quiet and bright; it is complete with linens.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

The apartment is just 5 minutes walk from the underground station "Colosseo" and it is well connected to the ATAC bus stop routes n. 84, 85, 87, 175, 186, 810, 850, and to the electric bus line 117.
