On this page, we have concentrated mainly on one province - the South East coast:
SIRACUSA: A province as well as a city, that stretches from the slopes of Fina and Catania to Nota. Along its shoreline are large sandy beaches and rocky foreshores stretching for some 100km. In contrast. this originally Greek city, includes the historic Island of Ortygia, fascinates with its narrow street leading to the Fountain of Arethusa, the cathedral and the sea, together with a vast range of restaurants, open air bars and the odd disco.
Fontane Bianche: A small beach resort about 17km south of Siracusa, where we offer a wide range of properties either near to the sea or about 25km inland. The green, serene countryside offers many square kms of orange and olive groves.
The resort has local shops, small supermarkets, two restaurants (one of which is Michelin rated), and a fine sandy beach stretching several km around a bay.
In short - an ideal beach location just a short distance of Syracuse and also ideal for exploring the canyons and mountains which are within 20km of your holiday home.
Lido Arabella/Fanusa: This is a beach area about 10km south of Syracuse and some 7km north of Fontane Bianche. There are cliff path walks and small sandy beaches around Fanusa, and Arenella is a large private beach where you have to pay a daily rate of 7 Euros per person for umbrellas and sun beds. Nearest restaurants are 7km away in Fontane Bianche.

FONTANE BIANCHE
Situated: About 3.5km from Floridia and situated in an absolute quite and peaceful landscape. The villa is surrounded by a Mediterranean garden, which offers a panorama with far reaching views over the landscape, which reaches till Syracuse and on clearly days till the sea.
Accommodation: The house offers everything for a pleasant stay. The beautiful and bright living area of the house is set on two floors, offering comfortable furnishings for 10 persons. Few steps lead to the upper floor with an open plan living area (with air conditioning) opening onto a kitchen with kitchenette and a living room with dining area and a sofa bed for two persons. Double bedroom, bathroom with shower/WC. Further WC. Washing machine. Sat - TV.
On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, one bedroom with two single beds, spacious bathroom hydromassage/WC. All bedrooms offer air conditioning.
External accommodation: On the spacious verandas you can enjoy breakfasting or rlelaxing dinners. A lawn surrounds a large and L - shaped swimming pool, which gives the property its very special appeal. The pool is perfect not only for adults but also for children, thanks to its minimum depth of 0,90 m, which drops gently to 2,50 m. On request, it should be possible, at extra cost, to arrange for the use of the pool before 12.05.and after 29.09..
About 20 metres from the house there is a tiny and independent apartment with separate entrance, which is sometimes used by the owner, but which does not affect clients privacy.
At a glance: Villa Maurizio makes an excellent base for enjoying the beautiful climate and exploring the charms of an island holiday. Syracuse with its history and monuments can easily be reached for a days outing. The short distance to the sandy beach of Fontane Bianche is perfect for a holiday with children.

Situated: Comfortable 1.5km from Floridia and situated in an absolute quite and peaceful landscape. The villa stands in a quiet and peaceful position and is surrounded by an extension of about 30.000 sq.m. made of olive and almond groves. A panorama with far reaching views over the landscape gives the property a charming atmosphere.
Accommodation: The house, set on the ground floor, offers simple but adequate furnishings for 4 persons, offering a open plan living area opening onto a kitchen with kitchenette and a living room with dining area and air conditioning, bathroom with shower/WC. One double bedroom, one bedroom with two single beds. A covered veranda provides perfect sitting out areas for eating or only relaxing at the Mediterranean climate.
External accommodation: A private swimming pool, hidden in the garden which surrounds the house is for personal use of the tenants. The pool area is surrounded by a grass plant. Close to the pool a gazebo will provide further outside sitting possibilities. On request it is possible to arrange, at extra cost, for the use of the pool before 12.05.and after 29.09..
At a glance: Villa Le Palme makes an excellent base for enjoying the beautiful climate and exploring the charms of an island holiday. Villa Rosa SLEEPS 4/5
FONTANE BIANCHE
A detached bungalow, well away from the madding crowds in the countryside about 22km from the sea and beaches. The approach road is narrow and bumpy but worth the effort to reach the house.
In an enclosed, fenced garden area complete with goldfish pond, the property was still being renovated at the time of our visit.
The living room is simple with a single sofa bed, and has an attached kitchenette - no oven. Only 4 hot plates. In contrast are the two pleasant bedrooms - one twin and one double, both with en suite bathrooms complete with boxed showers and WC.
Outside, a good sized swimming pool and separate paddling pool and open views of the countryside. There is also a new separate converted terrace area.
Drawbacks. The living room is lacking any real comfort, but the pool and the very quiet location plus the terrace areas, make up for this.
