Hotel Baglio Conca d’Oro, Palermo Monreale

Step back in time by staying in this historic building in a quiet spot just outside Monreale - for in 1748, this stone built building was a paper mill until it fell into disuse and was converted into a fine 27 bedroom hotel.

Located in the village of Molare which is some 3km from Monreale and 10km from Palermo. A pity there is no swimming pool but the style and charm of the building and public rooms make up for this lack.

The bedrooms each have a personally controlled air conditioning unit, telephone, SAT-TV mini bar and safe. Public rooms include a charming 80 seater restaurant in classic style and there is a lovely open bar on the enclosed patio.
