With only three star hotels available in Erice – we offer an ideal four-star alternative in the historical town of Marsala.

Being just 30 miles south of Erice staying in Marsala which is a gem of an historical town with its streets laid out in squares-the town is also known for its sweet desert Marsala wine. The old town is traffic free and the square and layout date back to ancient times. The town has an Arabic feel to it and there are plenty of quality restaurants and wine bars to sample-whilst one can visit some nearby Greek ruins and within 20 miles is Trapani-nothing to shout about but is does offer frequent ferry crossings to the Egudi islands and makes an ideal day excursion.

The hotel: This lovely hotel has been converted from a nobleman’s villa yet now offers almost 50 modern and expensively fitted out bedrooms. All have air conditioning, the en suite bedrooms have hairdryers and each bedroom contains Satellite-TV and telephone.

The English speaking reception are friendly and efficient and there is a bar with outside terrace and also a lounge and restaurant.
