| High Tatra mountains of
Slovakia - Brilliant! Is how we would describe
them. Wonderful scenery, terrific food at low prices
and friendly people. The mountains are high peaks
which enable one to walk from the bottom to the summit
and return in one day. |
|
You will need to choose with
care the route, as weather conditions can alter dramatically
from blue skies in the morning to mist in the early
afternoon and back to sunny climes in the early evening.
The trails are well signposted
but you may need some advice on selection from our
local agent ADREJ KISKA who can also organise mountain
bike rental and routes. |
 |
|
If activity is not your scene
- than there are half a dozen castles that can be
visited which contain museums and art galleries -
we can supply a list of routes to follow. Within 20
minutes you can arrive in Poland and into the bustling
resort of Zakopane and an extra 90 minutes brings
you to Krakow, a city now competing with Prague for
it's excellent 17th century buildings.
Last of all - our chalets chosen
for the back to nature settings amidst woodlands -
only the birds bursting into song to break the silence.
Good quality - most with a barbecue, an open fireplace
and wood supplies for both - what more can you ask
for!
